I have had a client ask me to do her lower lashes.

Does anyone have any hints or tips for me?

I know you have to have the client sitting up with eyes open....but any other advice would be great.

thanks,

Are you talking about semi permanant single lash extensions? could you not close their eye but separate the upper lashes the same as you would the lower lashes?

Applying to the lower lashes is a VERY advanced thing to do. You have to have your client sitting up, with her eyes open. Any of the adhesives will have a lot of fumes, so you could possibly burn the eyeball. I've burnt my eyeballs before and let me tell you it's not fun! Also they can't blink after you put the lash on there. I'm not too comfortable holding sharp tweezers that close to someones eye, one sneeze and you've got an eyeball on a stick!

Hi,
I have had lower single lash extensions applied to me. It was very difficult to keep eyes open and very still for the time it took. Also the fumes did make my eyes water, but I must admit the adhesive did take even with watering eyes.
The only problem I had was sometimes when I closed my eyes or on waking in the mornings the bottom lashes were hooked into the top lashes, it was like they were velcroed together. So much so I removed them with lash debonder. Hence now I only have the top lashes done........not worth the hassle for me.
Best of luck with the treatment, I am sure others will have had great results, sadly not me, but I adore have the top lashes on.
Lotsa luv x  x

Hi, I have been a lash trainer for years and I certainly would not attempt to apply lashes on the lower eye lid with the standard of glues on todays market. Toxins such as formalderhyde in these glues can cause serious eye damage and infection in my opinion. It' a bit risky! I am sure they will come up with a way to do it in the future.

thanks lash sensation

Marie i am a little confused,
you say you have a client asking for this but when i go to your profile to see what experience and training you have had there is no info there,
it looks like you don't have any training,
can you put the details into your profile hun, people will find it much easier to answer your questions then
