Mag lamp for facials - advice needed

Dear Geeks
for those of you who are mobile or home based, can you please tell me what type of mag lamp you chose for facials/extensions etc? I'm confused over the energy saving bulbs vs LED and what I should be looking for.

Have you considered using a head mag lamp? I use one all the time in the salon & find it far more convenient than a standard magnifier.
There are lots on e-bay & very affordable!
