I have a client tomorrow with some slices of 12.81(wella) with 12% and half of 5/0 and 5/77 through the rest of the hair. She now wants to keep the base shade the same but wants some red slices through. I have some majicontrast (Loreal) red. Would it be better to colour the whole head with the 5/0+ 5/77 first to get an even base then add the majicontrast slices in afterwards? I would normally do the slices at the same time but a bit worried about the red going on the lighter pieces. Also would I use 6 or 9%. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance
