hi i wonder if any one can help me i have been doing beauty for a while and have done several bridal make up sessions and hen party sessions also, but i know this may sound a little nieve but i am finding it a tad tricky to cover up age or liver spots as some people call them, i have tried concealer only on these areas as i dont want my client to look like they have a thick face of make up on is there anyone out there that can help me come up with a simple solution that doesn't involve a full mask of make up for my client?? or involve me in investing in some products that i will only use every once in a while HELP ME PLEASE!!

what products do you use at the moment ?? as some just arnt pigmented enought to give decent coverage , let us know x

a mixture of mac and dermacolor

Thats a pain, as I was going to recommend dermacolor palettes, I think these cover almost everything, i've only recently got them, and I can even cover dark moles and red spots etc. Sounds daft but could it be your brush you are using? You could experiment with differnt brushes that will put the concealer on more opaque. Just a thought. hth x

erm the only other one i would say is good is art deco it covers everythign x

thanks for your help i will have a try and see xx

Hi hun, I think you have to see it from the other side, I'm in my 40's and have a lot of sun damage on my face and decolage. I am perfectly happy to have a total covage foundation, it doesn't have to go on thick to give me a nice even canvass to work on and I put my concieler on after, make up artist told me to do that so that I use less of it and it works for me! After applying my powder ( I don't like shine) I use a none shimmer bronzer to put shading and shapeing in place rather then a blusher. It knocks a good five years of me:lol:
I don't have access to profecional (sp) make up I use Maxfactor total covarage.

brilliant thank you x
