Make up course in Cambridge

Can anyone recommend a good make up course in the Cambridge area?

Havent used them yet but the Beauty Academy has a site in Cambridge, some other ladies on here have used them, HTH x

yes i have trained with them . very professional and the manual you get is packed FULL of information. brilliant.

I did the make up course at the cambridge beauty academy.
I had to do this to get certification for insurance even though I have worked in make up for many years with cosmetic companies!. the course was very proffessional and thorough

Brilliant - I live in the Cambridge too and was wondering about the Beauty Academy. I'm a bit wary of being ripped off - a personal recommendation is so much better and more useful than a flashy looking website

Thanks everyone. I had looked at their website but wasn't sure if a 1 day course would be sufficient. I was a bit wary because their nail technician course is only 1 day and I don't think it's possible to learn acrylics in 1 day! If people here have done it and recommend it then I'll go for it. Thanks again.

Hi You can learn The make up course in a day. You get to do the practicle side and also the manual to take home. So no you wont get ripped off with it. They do nail classes over 4 days as well. Just depends on what you are looking for and your experience and ability. They are a nvq and city guilds assessment centre so they will go under strict checks i guess too. No harm in giving them a call see how you feel when you have spoke to them. hth
