Hi Guys

I am wondering how I can make nail polish dry quicker. I have an 9 month old baby so dont have a lot of time on my hands. I dont normally wear coloured nail polish as I find I dont have the time so I stick to a coat of clear nail varnish.

But just lately I have wanted to experiment with different colours so I bought an caramel coloured one. I applied a coat when my daughter was in bed, but I found it took ages to dry. I thought the first coat was dry so I added another but it just looked a complete mess so I took it all off and went for the clear varnish again.

What am I doing wrong and how can I get it to dry quicker?

Thank you

You need to have a professional enamel, use a basecoat, two thin applications of enamel, leave to dry for a couple of minutes, then use a fast drying top coat and follow with a speed spray or drop of Solar Oil (or similar) over it.

I'm thinking that you're probably applying the enamel too thickly, thin coats on both applications and by using a pro enamel you'll get the coverage on the second coat.

So apply base coat and nail polish thinly?
Where can I get the speed spray?

Thanks

As a consumer you will need to find a CND tech or salon in your area and buy it from them.
