The format of the interview will include an individual discussion with yourself and the management team so we can meet you and understand your background and skills, together with a hands-on trial where we will ask you to perform a simple treatment. We would also ask you to act as a model for the other applicants to perform their treatment, dont worry about having beautifully manicured nails and the more unruly your eyebrows the better! We are also looking for a range of experience, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to train. We hope that this experience will both be fun and will allow us to put you through your paces
Cuticles Limited is a nationwide team of salons and mobile therapists working throughout the UK to meet the consumers needs. We cover work in high footfall areas as well as providing teams for corporate events. To this aim, we only employ people who are hard-working, ambitious, talented and want to reach the top of their profession. We want you to have an eye on the trends and show the customer how to make or break their look. We will provide additional training with the top people in the industry using cutting edge techniques and the latest products. A commission scheme is in place with fantastic incentives for the right people. You will be expected to perform treatments and sell products for home care.
Meet the team:
Cathy Stewart, the founder of Cuticles Limited, formerly an accountant by training. Cathy has but has built the business from scratch on the founding principles of top quality service by the best qualified therapists.
Zoe Pocock, Londons celebrated manicurist and Grazias favourite. She is also the creator of the Louboutin Manicure. Her work has appeared in most womens magazines in the UK, websites throughout the work and she writes articles for Vogue online and the trade press. She currently works from the Daniel Gavin Hair Salon in London, works on London and Paris fashion week and presents on QVC, she has also assisted on numerous magazine covers which makes her an ideal choice as Cuticles Training Director.
Kim Lawless, dubbed The Wax Queen is a waxing expert and trainer and runs her own courses across the UK and Europe. Kim is also a trainer for Perron Rigot Paris and is one of just eight trainers in the world who have been awarded their prestigious qualification. She specialises in Intimate Waxing for women and men and has a long waiting list of clients for brow shaping. Kim often appears on TV, the radio and newspaper and magazine articles, where she's asked to comment and give demo's of her unique technique. She has devised some unique treatments for Cuticles to perform at Westfield.
