Hi would really like some help regarding the above. I run a small waxing salon and At times I'm very quiet.

I specialise in intimate waxing and also do full body waxing.

I'm just wondering how to really push the business out to gain new clients. My clients have always stayed with me one they have visited but it's just actually getting them in.

Many thanks

Leaflet drops
Refer a friend scheme
Newspaper ads
Handing leaflets out
Wearing a branded top everywhere you go
Local website advertising
Your own website

:)

All of the above are really good....
If you on,y provide waxing especially intimate waxing it might be worth seeing if you can find local salons that maybe don't offer waxing and perhaps have a referral system which may benefit you both

Do you have a website? If you can strengthen your SEO it will make a huge difference in customers finding you.

When I first started up, I used all of the online free ads

But to be honest, the most impact for me, was my website… I now have a busy business and all of my regulars, but the website still attracts new clients - I don't advertise or leaflet drop these days - but without the website, I think it would be a different story

Agree! Websites are the best way forward for small business. There are several websites that you can make yourself using their templates: weebly and wix are a couple I can think of. Also, list yourself free on Wahanda and local directories. But do the website first.

Thank you for all your replays and help I do have a website so I really need to push that out maybe. Xx

If you've already got a website, attach it to Yell.com free listing, wahanda free listing, does your business come up in searches on google places? If not register your business on there, then you can set a budget with google to place adverts online and the type of client you want to attract/ area. the idea of working with other salons maybe a nail salon maybe a great way to gain more clients too x

Perhaps if you let us know what your website is - we may possibly be able to make some suggestions? Its really important to have a website that is updated regularly, as google recognises this, and also a blog is another great idea

You need to make is friendly for a visitor to navigate around it, but also keyword rich
