Massage and vacuum suction

hey im doing some homework but im stuck with this question

What benefits would a client gain if she had a sauna or steam treatment before continuing with treatments such as massage and/or vacuum suction?

I am also currently covering this at college. It is a very basic question and you should easily be able to find the answer in your notes. I would have thought it would have been covered in class too.
