maternity leave - chair rental

Hi,
just wondered if anyone knew what happens when chair renters go on maternity leave do they still have to pay the full rent all the time their off or is it discounted?

my chair renters pay full amount if they want the chair when they return to work, being in our trade and being self-employed i find people dont have very long off. x
