I'm looking for really good product and proceedure for a man's manicure? I want to get some men through the door - grooms and whatnot this summer but most have very calused hands and a lot of grease/oil around the nails. I am looking for a very good guarantee when advertising that I can rectify these problems for their big day! Where I live, close up pictures of the bride and grooms hands are always taken - this is my motivation, to give them a great picture! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use CND manicure products, the citrus scent is fine for men. Clip all nails as needed, file nails on one hand, apply Blue Cross Cuticle Remover place that hand in to soak. File and shape nails on second hand while first hand soaks. When done apply Blue Cross to second hand and soak. Push/cut cuticles on first hand while second hand soaks, then push/cut cuticles on second hand. I apply callus eliminator on hands prior to soaking as needed and then if needed, follow with a good scrub with grains as you would callused feet. I find Blue Cross Cuticle Remover removes grease and oil as well as cuticule, and the scrub with something grainy gives a nice finish to rough skin. After scrubbing with grains I have customer go to bathroom and wash hands. Apply oil to cuticles and follow with a good hand/nail massage. Remove all oil and lotion from nail plate and complete manicure with either matte mens polish or buff. Sorry lengthy but hth

I dont think you'll sort men's hands out in one treatment.

What about promoting a Wedding Treatment Package?
Prehaps a month beofre the big day plan two fornightly appts then day before do them again and through in a free brides pedicure the day before too?

Thanks for the reply guy's! I will try the CND cuticle remover and I love the wedding package idea! Very much appreciated.

my boyfriend has terrible overgrown shall i say cuticle and it's so stubborn when giving him a manicure i took a plastic bowl full of boiling water and placed another bowl of cuticle oil any kind i just plain old almond for this placed that into the large bowl and he sat there with his hands in that for 5/10 mins was great for preparing the cuticles for removal and although they have oily cuticles etc i find mens hands are very very dry
