Metal bow adhesion on gel nails

Hii everyone I need some help! I just had a client and she wanted me to put 3d bows on her gel nails so I did. I used acrylic to stick them on and she texted me saying they both popped off in like 3 hours! How can I fix them?! Is it even possible to stick 3d enhancements on gel nails? Please help! :sad:

Would the gel possibly not be too smooth for the acrylic to grip? Maby a low grit file on the place where your sticking the acrylic? Wouldn't look to great aesthetically thou
