Minx | Hanging Out At the Forefront Of Fashion

It's possible that Minx are secretly planning to take over the world one fashion week at a time. I can barely open my inbox before emails pour in telling me what new and fabulous thing they've been doing and this morning is no different. We know they rocked at London and Paris Fashion weeks but now we are seeing them doing some truly gorgeous nails in Russia and Japan as well.

Minx ensured that all the models on Natasha Drigant's catwalk show at 'Volvo Fashion Week' in Moscow on April 7th 2012 were looking fabulous to their fingertips. Drigant's new collection 'Sky Lounge' was finished off with Minx designs utilising black, white and grey along with metallic colours and non-geometrical forms according to the collections palette. Natasha personally selected the designs from Minx's regular collection so that anyone could recreate her catwalk look in Moscow's salons.

Then it was time for Minx to manicure Japan. In-Process by Hall Ohara presented the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection on March 20, 2012 at the Belle Salle Shibuya First in Japan with models displaying unique and impactful custom Minx nail fashion to complement the line.

Minx nail stylist, Kanako Shimoshige suggested a custom design knowing that, as Minx offers literally infinite possibilities, the designers could get exactly what they wanted. They took their inspiration from the unique graphics on the collection's stockings and sent the ideas to Minx co-founders Dawn Lynch-goodwin and Janice Jordan.

Kanako decided to use transparent designs layered over solid base coats to create different colours with a unifying design. As Kanako says, Minx has a real advantage over polish at fashion shows. Not only is it easy to apply and remove, there's no smell, no drying time and you can achieve an enormous amount of looks in just a very short amount of time.
