Hello,
Today I did a supervisor from New look for free to promote my services and she brought her friend who also worked at the same shop, who was a paying customer. The non paying client's toes were minxed with no problems the paying client has very little nails no real free edge and I couldnt file the minx properly in the end I had to cut the free edge with scissors. My file is getting really blunt only after 6 applications and I clean it with liquid soap and a nail brush untill all the glue comes off after every client. Im really dispondant now and feel I could off lost a client for good.
I did cuticle work used Cnd cuticle remover and then scrub freshed waited to dry and then applied.
So please can any one help with any ideas.
Thanks
Emma

Hi Emma,

If you have really scrubbed your file then there shouldn't be a problem.

I have bought another file for just incase but haven't had to use it yet. When I clean my file I don't use liquid soap I use washing up liquid, probably shouldn't but it works for me, try it and see if it make a difference.

hth:)

Hi,
I'll give that a go but do you have any problems with any clients that have no free edge?

I dont think theres much you can do about it...if the nails arent in a great condition then I would just explain that they probably would be better having a couple of manicures first to try grow the nails out abit or suggest an NNO x
