After watching The Apprentice final the other night where they had to make chocolates, it got me thinking about when I used to have my own choccie shop.

In the show Yasmina came up with strawberry & basil. I've tried some wierd & wonderful flavoured truffles myself, some favourites being milk ganache with coriander & tropical fruit; apple strudel; dark chocolate ganache with aniseed, lemon & almond pieces.

Bars of chocolate have included milk with nutmeg; dark with mango & chili; dark with strawberry & black pepper; milk with lavender.

What's the wierdest flavour you've tried?

I would love to find white chocolate and coconut....Lindt used to do one but haven't seen it in the shops for years.

Chilli and choc and it was gorge. xx

I think M&S do a white bar with coconut. There's also a brand called Swiss Delice that do that as well.

If you like milk choccie, Sainsburys do the most delicious bar with a coconut cream. Plus their NewTree range is the milk bar with lavender mmmm

I was in Hotel Chocolate the other day and they were launching their new cocktail range of chocolates, tried a rum and lime one....... Mmmmmmmm.. delicious!!! :lick: best served freezing cold!

Now why cant I find a job tasting chocolate? ........ second thoughts, best I dont! lol lol  :green:

I had a lovely box of truffles and my fave was the pineapple one :)

I had one, it was chocolate and salt, sounds horrible, but it was lovely. The salt was a bit like you get in the "Seriously Strong" cheese, not hard and gritty.

I had chocolate with bergamot once, tasted like Earl Grey tea.

I used to like the chocolate salted pretzels.

my fav chocs are the cappacinno thortons, but I did quite like the choc n chilli, also rose chocolates.

Regular 'old' Dairy Milk for me... it's WAY better than the stuff they make over here
No funky flavours needed, just choccy, choccy, choccy :o

My Special Scottish Amiga :wink2: sent me 2 BIG bars of DM recently, there's only 1 left, it's gorgeous :lick:
