Have you tried joining the salon guinea pig site, Salon Guinea Pig - Find people for practising treatments, training courses, competitions, etc. ?

Well it's only been in existence since July last year. I wrote it as a pet project in the evenings after work to test out some code using XML databases. It's all written in Java using open source software.
