Hi,

can anyone advise me on how to gain more clients as i have been doing mobile beauty for a year now around my full time office job, and although i do have a few regular clients it is still not enough to leave my office job and go mobile on a full-time basis. I have put my website on Yell.com and also free index. Please help!! ;)

Hi you need to pop your ad on every free ad site you can find. Google free advertising. Get a group on face book, put special offers as your status on there too. Contact primary schools or social clubs to ask about donating a voucher for any up coming events with a raffle, put leaflets where ever you go. Do some refer a friend offers with existing clients. Offer friends and family reduced price or free treatments to hold a
pamper night, so there friends get to see what you do give out party bags with gift vouchers in, so they re book to use the voucher. Offer hairdressers with no beauty bit, special offers if they hand out your price lists.
You just have to keep plugging away at it Hun, it will come but takes time and constant selling on your part. Good luck hope you get a busy summer . :)

The best thing I did was reccomend a friend cards.

I give out a card to all new clients (and continue to give them to existing clients as they can have as many as they want.

It gives them both 50% discount. The new client is encouraged to come with a 50% discount, the existing clients gets 50% off for reccomending them.

I now 50% is massive but it has worked so so so well. I almost doubled my client base, about 80% of the reccomended people are now regulars and they give them out to their friends.

The existing clients that were 'rewarded' for reccomending me used their discount to try a new treatment or treat themselves to something they wouldnt usually have (e.g. a regular waxer now has facials too)

So I got new clients and was able to start a new range of treatments on my existing clients.

I cant complain about that.

The 50% discounts I were doing only filled empty slots so Im not loosing money by doing a discount.

Hope that helps.

Gx
