Mortified, help!

Oh geeks!!
What have I done?!! How did this happen I feel sick for worrying. I have to tell you guys a I need some advice/reassurance.

Long story short I was advised by the charity I am running for to contact local businesses etc for donations/sponsorship.
I composed an email and added a picture of myself so they could put a face to the name.
Checked over email and sent to around 70 businesses. I sent it to myself too and when it came through I opened it.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

I don't know how this happened but the photo I had attached was not the photo that was sent!!!!!!!!
I have an old photo my OH took of me in some lingerie.Specifically a babydoll dress. Nothing is on show, a teeny bit of Cleavage and a bit of the tummy as the tummy bit is see through and my head is mid turn so you can't really make out my face. Unless you really knew me you wouldn't know it's me.
It's a very innocent photo, nothing pornographic or anything. Just a lingerie photo.

I don't know how on earth this happened. More to the point I am so worried if there are any legal implications like I said there is no inappropriate flesh on show. I think people will just be a bit "what on earth"
I cannot believe this has happened I don't understand when I attached the photo it was just one of me from the waist up and that somehow attaches itself.

In my shock/embarrassment/worry I sent another email out apologising profusely saying that I my account had some how been compromised and apologised if any inappropriate photos had been received.

Gosh this is like something you hear on a TV programme

You need to calm down. What is done is done. You have sent a second email apologizing so I would not worry. In a week or so all the companies you sent it to will have completely forgotten about it. What has your OH said?

You will laugh about this in years to come, but I can imagine your shock and horror; poor you.
You can't turn back the clock, so look for the silver lining. Your e-mail won't be disregarded, it will be different from the run-of-the-mill.
Maybe try to find out how it happened, though?

Oh my goodness!!! My toes are curling with embarrassment, you poor thing!
At the same time I giggled, and I would imagine people will realise it's a genuine mistake and not anything pervy!!

You poor thing! All the best for your run, and probably best to NAME each one of your pictures and don't use the camera name for them eg, KayaPapaya-sat in a deckchair rather than DSF00120122 etc, as that's when mistakes can happen when you're in a rush!

Oh bless you, how embarrassing. Just in case you ever send an email that should not have gone, most email packages let you retract the e-mail you have sent. Have a look under help and it should help you.
