My niece's nail

Hey!! My sister and I just noticed that her 5 year old daughter's thumb nail is white near the nail bed and is slowly starting to crack. Should we be worried because my sister is pretty scared and doesn't know if there is something wrong with her:cry:. Does anybody have advice or know what to do???

hmmm possibly sounds like she has banged it at some point and this is just some trauma showing through, with a little seperation of the layers
Might be best just to keep an eye on it and pop
her along to the Gp to check, Its hard to say,
Wouldn't like to say its OK or its not to be honest especially with her being so young.
GP might be best bet x
