Hi ,Im not sure what to do with my brush, Ive been wearing Vaseline and latex gloves due to an alerigic reaction on my hands , when Ive finished the gloves have gone yellow at the fingers!!!!this yellowness has obviously gone into the neck of my brush where I hold it , and now when I put the brush in the monomer..the monomer turns yellow:irked:.

Ive given it a good wiping , seemed ok for a while, went to use it today , same again , what can I do ?

Try soaking it overnight tacked to the wall in a dappen dish of monomer by bluetack.
You may just have to bite the bullet mate and buy another but at least give it a go x

Ok thanks thought about giving it ago, dont really want to buy another brush at the moment as Im booking a conversion in November and I will get another one then, so really wanted to make do with it , Ive got another brush the same , but smaller, maybe just perserve with this one if the soaking doesnt work ah.

The soaking will work,
i have a piece of blue tack permanently stuck to the wall for soaking my brushes,
sometimes i leave it there all weekend with tin foil covering the dish so that the monomer does not evaporate and then when i go back into the salon my brush is as good as new hth

Carl (Nailzoo) once said that if you have contaminated your brush, then give it a gentle shampoo & condition with your very best shampoo & conditioner, rinse well and shape & allow to dry.
You could always use the straighteners to bring it back into shape too.

It's got to be worth a go. Then I'd start if off again, by dipping into your monomer and re-shaping to suit.

What have you got to lose?

Thanks all:hug:
