Hi
I recently left a salon that I was self employed in (rent a chair) for near 5years to go mobile. The salon has a facebook page which has some of my work on which I did while I was renting a chair and I gave permission for them to be on the page.
However since I left they have re-shared one of my pictures which flagged up that my work is still on there.
I was a little annoyed at them using my work to promote the salon now I no longer work there but am I within my rights to ask them to remove my work from the page completely? Even if I gave permission for them to be there in the first place but did not sign a contract of any kind?
Thanks in advance
Robyn

I think as you were self employed and "renting" then yes you are within your rights to ask for all your work to be removed.

What if you were employed and they're still using your work?

@chrisjames is quite correct.
When you're employed, any work you produce belongs to your employer.
