Nail art advice

Hi

I have just been looking through some amazing images of nail art from past competitions.

Some of them were obviously unwearable and just for fashion shoots art shoots etc.

I was wondering what the sculptures that one some of the images were standing off/upwards on the nail are made of. Is this acrylic too. I would like to have a go at it so any information will be greatfully received.

I think you must mean Acrylic 3D art, where coloured acrylic is used to create 3D art like flowers, butterfly's or if you are looking at the fantasy comp nails .... then wow you really can create anything they are usually based on themes for comps. HTH. xx

Yeah thats the ones I mean. Fantasy nail art and 3D. So its just the acrylic we do full sets with but coloured or is it like a fimo/plastacine type thing. I really am clue less on this one at the mo.

Some times wire and or foil are used ,aswell as L&P / gel
