I've made my own water decal transfers as an alternative to hand painted nail art. I've used them on a few clients so far (including myself).

I've been applying them after colour and before using top it off. I've had one client so far who has said that her decal has sort of smudged (after only a couple of days)and you can no longer see part of it. So, if you were applying these would you do so using the same method? or is there another way I haven't thought of which would make them last a bit longer?

Thanks!

I do it the same as you, did you use a cotton bud to dry the nail before top coat? xx

No, I tried to get the transfer as dry as possible before placing it on the nail but I didn't dry the nail? Did this work for you?
