Nail Bar/Beauty Salon - What music license do I need?

Can anyone help me....

Im in the process of opening my own salon... need to get a music license but unsure of what i need or have to have.

I have 1 nail bar and 1 beauty room and a small staff area.

I would like to be able to play, radio, cd and spa music within the salon what do i need?

Then contact your local council they will tell you what other licences you need.

You will also need a PPL licence ... you need both the PPL and PRS.

PPL have just got the High Court in London to ban a nightclub near me in Birmingham from playing recorded music and given then a £1800 bill because they didn't have a PPL license!

its all twinkly and relaxing the clients love it and somehow we have found ourselves 'singing' along!
It doesn't stop PPL ringing you and being rude because you dont have a licence, but I have a letter from I Chill and never paid for a licence.
