Hi Geeks

I am having ago at doing my first ever bad nail biter tomorrow and just wanted to know that if she wanted french could i cover the whole nail with a cover pink and then apply dashing diva on top of the pink and then cap in clear.

Also any tips on how to use a cover a pink on a nail biter do you the whole nail down to zone 3 from zone 1, as when i have tried this before i have probs with lifting, i never get lifting when using clear or coloured powders just cover pinks for some reason..

Thank you

I typically sculpt on nailbiters. I use coverage pink to build out the nailbed to where it should be and then sculpt a shorter rounded free edge with a natural or bright white. Last, I cover the entire nail with clear, building a little extra over the stress area. Nail biters should not be given long nails that they won't be used to right off the bat, because they will just break or chew them right off. It's best to let them get used to the idea of having nails first and then let them gradually grow out. I don't know how well those dashing diva tips will fit on to a sculpted nail bed.

I totaly agree with you C-C. Never let them talk you into longer then just at their finger tips. Its more for them to pick at. They are not use to the length and would just creak and brake the enhancements, causing them to ripp it off & damaging the nail more. Trust me after you put it on just to the finger tips the'll love it, because its such an improvement of what they had and as they come in for refills their nail well be longer, so they grow into them (getting use to them). You'll keep them for a long time. If you go past the tips they may break and loss them as clients. Not with everyone but most I found got discouraged. If you do go past tips do so with a good apex. Its not only the braking that cause discouragment but also they can't do anything. So they come in and ask you to take down anyway. :D
