I'm sure there are plenty around your area 
I would reccommend going with one on the big brands. These are a few I have tried in my time.
CND, NSI and of course...... Entity (What I use now) and for coloured acrylic i am loving Nfu - Oh, they also do pink and white, i just havn't got around to trying it out yet.

I did a course with nco nails, they r based in bushey. I think the gels are really good, and gina is really helpfull! X
