No matter how i set my camera, i can't seem to get a clear, focused photograph of my nails, it's driving me insane.... :irked:

I've completed some really good sets lately and wanted to post some pics on my facebook group.

Any clues/tips?

I have a samsung camera.... the 13.6 mega pixel one.

Try and not get the camera too close to the nails. Have a good distance. If you have 13mp then you will be able to enlarge the pic on your computer :) ooor you can use your micro on your cam. usually it looks like a flower and that will make you take pics really close

thank you sooooo much!!

managed to get my nails in focus, just need to get creative now :)

Hi

I like to take my pictures in natural light or under my desk lamp with no flash

No flash and daylight is the best. Other constant lighting has different colour, fluorescent is blue and tungsten is yellow and these tint the images. If you have to use flash, stick some tissue paper over the flash to defuse the light and point the camera at an angle to try to avoid flash bouncing back into the lens.

That Tulip means 'macro' is on. Good for close up shots.
