Hi

I have a potential client who wants acrylics on their nails but she really has deep ridges on her nail... Will this affect the acrylic adhering to the nail bed???

Naturally, you can't buff them down smooth... Would the usual prep routine be enough or would I need to do something in addition..

The nails feel really dry and hard too... Why is this??

Thanks

Hiya, I have a client that has this problem on both her thumbs, deep ridges, I advised her to go to the docs but it doesnt seem to bother her, but it's only really a doctor or specialist that could look into the reason, I put a custom blend on her thumbs, as my normal french pink lets the ridges show through, and doesn''t look as nice as with a more coverage pink, I also have to put it on a lot thicker than her other nails due the deep ridges, heres a photo of her nails, if you look at her thimbs you can see it's alot thicker than a normal application hth xx ruth
