Nail ripped from nail bed!!!

hi, hoping someone can give me some advise, my client came for an(overdue!) infill this week and her thumb nail had ripped away from the nail bed but still attached near the cuticle, the nail was standing proud from the thumb a bit too, not sure what to do so just infilled the nail (no sign of infection), but the nail looked funny as it was sticking up a bit... any advise appreciated

I think I would have sent her to the doctor. If I'm picturing that right...I would have sent her to the doctor for sure!

did tell her to go see the doctor but she didnt seem convinced, will try telling her again next week, thanks
