Nail stations?, lamps?, tech chairs? which ones do I get?

Hi

Im confussed which ones to I buy for my new salon??, im new to the industry, do I need to spend hundreds of pounds?

Where to I buy them from?, Do I need filtered stations for enhancements?, Do I need drawers on both side?, Do I need special chairs? etc..

I brought all mine from Ikea.

I went to Ikea to i kit my salon out, i only went there for a sofa for the reception area, and ended up buying allsorts from them. They sell a peanut shaped table in the office section, its ideal for nail techs as the shape allows you to be nearer to your client and each end of the table is wider so theres plenty of room for all your kit. they do the tables in different colours too, black, white, cherry red,etc, and they are made really well. i also got retail cabinets from there, they were only £69 each and just the job for any products you may sell.I dont use tables with extractors on them and i dont have a problem with dust, i just make sure the techs wipe down after each client, as for lamps i use normal desk lamps but with a high watt bulb, they give plenty of light out.hope this helps, and good luck.

Ikea only have the peanut shaped tables in light blue now. Same has for the egg shape also. I went there the other week and was told all the other shades have now been discontined. Real shame has they were nice.
Argos have a Kidney shaped one in the office section in Beach top and silver legs which also looks nice.

Lelaah, the link isn't working. Can you get it up again please has im really intrested in looking at these pics. Im off to ikea next week to kit out my new nail room and would love for some idea's. I have tried seaching myself but cannot find it. xx

Oh thankyou hunni :hug: I'll have a nosey now.
I just got back from ikea this evening! Popped down to the southampton store to get one of the blue peanut shaped tables has it would match my beige/brown coloured room and there was a red one there! The lady told me there wasn't any in stock last month and that colour had been discontinued (unless it was a return item as there was only 1 left on the shelf)
I just settled for the blue table in the end so i dont have to redecorate to match
