I just wanted to post an update on that wonky finger. The customer service staff have been so nice to work with. We tried several things to resolve it and ultimately it looks like that finger is indeed defective. They were kind enough to send me a replacement finger since it was such a recent purchase. I'll be installing that when it arrives in the mail.

It's good to have a good customer service when something goes wrong. I guess this is something we can all take on board as nail technicians.:wink2:
 
It was really strange. The nail bed literally comes popping back out on that middle finger. I'm looking forward to putting in some real practice now.
