What is the best way to remove nail varnish from a client without damaging your own varnish?

There are remover pads called hands down pads i think ! they have protective backing to protect your nails i have seen them in most nail online stores or sweet squared sell them!:)

hold your pad/cotton wool etc further down between your fingers (near or below the 2nd knuckle) towards your palm.

I use hands down pads or hold a pad under my middle finger using the fingers either side to grip it, if that makes sense :)

Thanks for all your answers

I had looked at the Hands Down pads but wondered if they worked out expensive - how many would it take to remove dark polish off all ten nails??

I had also thought about gloves especially when using acetone to pack & wrap nails for removal. Which ones can you use - would acetone not melt them?
