Nails 10 times drier then skin on the hands?

Sat watching qvc because I am interested in any and all nail stuff on tv The presenter said that nails are 10 times drier then the skin on your hands, I've never read anything about this. Is it true?:o

I've never heard this before but who cares anyway? It's one of those meaningless bits of trivia that are really very unimportant in the scheme of things. To me anyway.

It's not true but it depends on the condition of the nail. I think this probably came from the fact that nails are more POROUS than skin
