The nail industry has been left reeling after the very sad news that, industry ledgend, Vicki Peters has been diagnosed with cancer. The American nail tech, who has helped to shape the industry, revealed the sad news over the weekend.
Peters, who is co-author of the Milady's book, has educated thousands of nail technicians in the United States. She has contributed countless articles to NAILS magazines and NAILPro magazine throughout the last 25 years. She was enormously successful on the competition circuit and has helped define the modern competition format - she was one of the judges at Nailympia earlier this year. She literally 'wrote the book' on the correct use of the e-file and has had more than 200 cover photo's published, a record in the industry.
