Just as we were about to welcome in the new year, an industry icon, valued mentor and wonderful soul left us. American nail tech, Vicki Peters passed away in the early hours of December 31, 2014 due to complications arising from cancer.
Just a month short of her 61st birthday, Vicki had a wealth of experience across the industry and had garnered respect from all who encountered her. Whether it was working in a salon, working for trade publications, competing, working for manufacturers and as a consultant, and even having her own line of products, Vicki was as successful and, as likeable, as they come.
Vicki was dedicated to the nail technician and was dedicated to education and training. Vicki's passing is a devastating loss to the industry and one that will be felt around the world.
