Ok so I have a few different questions...
first is regarding nail training (this is for a friend who may rent my nail area next year after training & practice)
Is there a training provider like cnd or nsi etc that trains in all areas of nails? Sort of like 1 course to learn gel, extensions, gel polish, acrylic, manicure/pedicure all in one place? If you do know could you possibly post a link to a website please
On to me now...
Next question eyebrows... (I know nothing about this so bare with me!) A lot of customers ask if I do eyebrows, their after the wax, tint, shape sort of thing, never having had my brows done professionally I genuinely don't know what it entails? Or how long it takes to get "good" at it. Obviously there's the big names like hd to train with but that's way out of my price range at the mo, so I'd like to know what other companies you'd recommend training with? Or would I be better off doing level 1 beauty? Which leads me onto the next question.....
Skin... Mainly facials I'm thinking of, a few customers have suggested they would have facials done if it was offered, having never had one of these either I have no idea what the training for it would evolve? Would I be better doing level 1 & possibly 2 beauty to be able to do this or would I be able to learn through a skin care company?
Would I be limiting myself by using individual company's and be better doing a full nvq in beauty instead?
I'm a hairdresser so know that sometimes level 2's come fresh out of college into a salon and fall flat on their faces when faces with the problems the shop floor produces on a day to day basis, is beauty like this too? I'll be my own boss as I own the salon so need to be realistic about how skilled I would be (ovs ill practice loads and loads and give it 100%) so I'm after your opinions really on this lot? Tia x
