Hi Geeks
I am looking for some advice on this company and their range of products etc. . . . Basicly a friend of a friend recommended them to me as I am just about to enter the world of spray tanning and I am about to purchase training, equipment, machine, tent, solution etc.......
I have had a look at their wed site and want to know:
1. Is the hlvp vip machine the same as the 5008 model that often is discussed on this forum and is it any good?
2. What do you think of the solutions?
3. What is the customer support like?
Any info would be great, its just that it is such a big purchase for me I really want to get it right.
Many thanks in advance, Elle

Hi there, I used Naturasun for a few years so I can offer my humble opinion:green:
I already had my hvlp, so cant help with that one.
I found the colours fantastic with Naturasun solutions. I stocked the D+E, Regular, Star and chocolate. D+E and reg were the most popular. The colours were gorgeous, faded evenly and lasted well. My clients loved them. Even though I no longer use them, I still maintain that the colours were my favourite.
Down side - the solutions seemed very "wet" and sticky and clients said they felt clammy all day. There seemed to be a lot of over spray with the solutions. The solutions are more expensive than a lot of others. The company didnt seem to ever do specials or offers. I didnt find the customer service great.

Hope that helps!

I, too had my own equipment, so can't comment on that aspect.
However I love the solutions and the wide range that they have.
I find that the colour lasts just as long as others on the market ....5 - 8 days and the cost is about average.
During november & december there was an offer - buy one get one free - and I ordered a stack of the stuff. I had a special offer on tanning during the run up to Christmas and I was mobbed and continued the offer through january. I covered the cost of the solution in 1 days' takings and now have many new 'tan-junkie' clients.
I'd order from them again, no probs.:)

Hello Again
Thanks for your advice thats great. Really helped me to make my mind up.

Nope, these are different machines.
The hvlp vip machine also goes by the name 'pig' or 'super pig' because of its round body and little legs!! or so I was told!!!!

The hvlp 5008 machine also goes by the name of Maximist
Mostly when you buy the 5008 it will come with spare solution cups which will come in very handy

The hvlp vip machine is a great machine, I have one (I've had quite a few over the years!) and still like to use it. I like the fact it has 3 speed settings on it and a heat function...although usually by the time that kicks in I finished spraying!

Out of the 2 I would probably go for the 5008 as it is a newer machine, I find it uses a little more solution that the vip but nothing to be too worried about.

xx
