I've been level 6 auburn for over 10 years. I had a friend..( We are both cosmetologists, she's a colorist) put in highlights as I wanted to go a bit lighter but they turned out more yellow than I would like so I went home and put a 8N dialight on for 10 mins, now it's an awful brown

Any suggestions on getting rid of the semi permanent dialight?

I know that color correctors say they don't work on non oxidative color.

Once I get rid of this... Even by fading what toner would you use to keep my highlights a light auburn that's not too gold, orange or yellow? It's hard to find reds above level 8 for toning.

Your friend should of toned it instantly for you,

We are not allowed to pass on information to a non pro on using professional products at home.
Please don't add anything else to your hair but to go to a professional for a colour correction :) x

I am a pro I have my license but freelance and don't work in a salon anymore. My gf did tone it right away but I didn't care for the look, after washing it a few times.
