:sad:Ok, when I was going to school I did some really awesome french manicures but now I am working at a salon and I am finding that my french mani's are awfull. I use OPI polish and my white is really nice but when I put my see through pink on it looks cloudy and very streaky. I have tried different see through pinks with OPI and I am still getting the same effect. I feel so bad that all I want to do is take it all off and start again on the client but honestly I feel like I am taking too much time doing the French already. trying to fix the streakiness. What do you think I am doing wrong? Please give me some advice.
Thanks,
Kat

I could be the polish or it could be that you are overloading the brush. The first coat should be barely visible and the next thin also. I've found it works to hold the brush as flat to the nail as possible and "float the brush" over the nail with a gentle stroke for the second coat, try to get complete coverage with as few strokes as possible ideally 3 or 4. Personally I don't like OPI as I find the brushes too bulky! Essie's vanity fairest is very forgiving for french.
