I am as the title says really nervous and scared.

I am setting up a a Mobile Beauty Therapist after many years away from the business, I have only been advertising for a week and already got 7 treatments booked in and loads of contacts for poss future clients.

But my problem is I am starting to panic about going in to peoples homes and something happening to me, I Shaw it wont but could any other mobile geeks give me some reassurance please.

Sorry to be a wimp.

xx

Hi hun, I've been Mobile in and around Cambridge for many years now, and can hand on heart say nothing has ever happened to me.
I decided not to do Male clients except those I new or regular clients othere halves. As I didn't think this would be safe.
Just make sure you get full address and phone number for them. Speak to the client the first time they book, if they txt after that then fine. Tell someone where your going when it's the first time. You will soon realise it's cool.
Honestly, it's a great job, you have clients you really look forward to seeing and having a catch up with.
I had time away from the industry too, and have never regreted going back to it.
Good luck, if you need any help give me a yell.x:hug:

Hi Sarah, i know this is off the topic... But please, please do share how you got 7 app bookings in just a week of advertising. what advertising methods did you use? I want to start mobile too, but am totally clueless...

Hi Sarah

I do much the same as UKFaye with regards to male clients. I absolutely love my job, good luck!!!

Heidi xx

P.S. 7 Clients booked already...you are onto a winner!

Good luck sweetie. Once you've gotten through your first week you will be absoluteley fine where nerves are concerned.

A lot of people decide to only do men that they know or have a common contact. I do anyone and have never had any trouble.

If you want to, let someone know where you will be and when.

Seriously though, you will have no problems whatsoever! I don't know anyone that has. If your gut tells you not to book someone then don't. Trust yourself xx

I had a tricky experience working mobile many years ago, which is why I'm strictly salon and have been for years. It was a client I thought I knew very well and it scared the life out of me. Always leave a number and address with someone at home of where your going and make sure your phone is charged up.

I was mobile full time for 10 years and still do some for clients who can't get to me. I have never had any experience that scared me at all and I built a great business full of wonderful clients. I agree wholeheartedly with UKFaye in everything said.

You have done extremely well in your bookings now go out and enjoy this fab occupation! :)

Yes do tell how you got so many bookings well done you

Always let someone at home know where you are going to be I get my hubby to ring me half an hour after I start somewhere just to check it always worked find for me and I was an ann summers rep for years neva had a bad experience and havent in this industry either am sure you will be fine

Good luck hun

Deb
