New ideas please help

I have been given total control of my salon my the owners for the next 2 weeks to run the salon as if its my own, has anybody got any ideas i could do to increase client spend and improve the atmosphere. (It is just a hair salon. No beauty)

Its generally the little things that can lift the atmosphere in a salon. Try cakes for your co- workers, nice biscuits for the clients. Make sure the salon is spotless.
Try a 2 week competition to sell treatments (conditioning) and products with a bottle of wine as a prize.
If your boss comes back to a happy and buzzy salon then they will be impressed, so try not to boss the others about and get their backs up!!
