I am teaching myself how to do acrylics and I know it takes practice! I have bought some items from Sally's Beauty Supply because it is local and I'm having a hard time getting the liquid to powder ration correct so that it isn't to watery when applied to the nail...is there a specific technique? Also, what is the ideal size brush to make the application process a little smoother? Any advice to doing nails would be much appreciated as well! Thank you!!!

Best advice I can give you, is go and do proper training first. :)

I second what mrs turner has said. If you want to learn the art of nails you really do need to take a class. Even if it's just for self application you will learn the right way to apply nails. HTH:biggrin:
