Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out...

Myself and my Mum are planning on getting some training in acrylics and gels. Neither of us have any experience and want to just start with basics to see if it is something really want to pursue before putting in lots of time/money and finding we don't wish to continue with it (if you get me?).

I have found a course with The Nail and Beauty Academy in Surrey - Can anyone tell me if they have done this course or heard any good/bad reports about it?

Thanks,
Kelly

I suggest you do a search here on the site for some of the answers you seek

Search CND, NSI, Essential Nails, etc. See what people have to say.

It is a hard industry to dip your toe in the water ... if you don't have the skills you wont know how you like nails, and acquiring the skills can take more than a year (and that's if you're good and have the talent).

Becoming a nail professional is not a quick, easy, simple or cheap option. Perhaps a home learn course would be good for you both to get a 'feel' for the art of nails. Contact Essential Nails for this. Don't expect it to be cheap though. Learning what is a lucrative profession is never cheap.
