Hi All

I have joing nail geek to get some advice on suppliers, does anyone know where I can get the smallest petite full nails from (not the tips) I have been approached by some dance schools to do the nails and they range from 8yrs up, (I know I have suggested to do the art on their natural nails but I didnt realise how competitive the parents are and the have said it has to be on the artificial nails O) Any ideas?

Please help
Cheers

Myself i would have another go at educating the parents that applying these to young girls nails with nail glue is not going to promote healthy nails,
it does not matter how much you drum into them that they would need to be removed by yourself professionally,
or even if you charged for the fitting and removal at the first appointment,
they are still going to catch these and break them whilst dancing or will just pull them off themselves (kids been kids) and cause damage to their natural nails,
sorry i know that this is not what you wanted to hear but this is the view i take on the full coverage nails and children, hth

Where are my manners,
welcome to the site Ange x

hiya
i agree with louise there, the kids will wreck their nails removing them.
theres loads of people my way that ask for them i always refuse, i tell them the damage even stick on's can do and explain the nail may never grow de same depending in the amount of damage... some listen and i'll paint the nails and some go elsewhere to get them done, then go around bad mouthing the therapist afterward cos of the damage to nail bed caused by removal, which isnt the therapists fault!!

In saying that, my niece cried for some for her conformation (age 12) as all her friends had them, so i added a white tip at the bare edge and a gel finish coat the night before, she had them off following night when i went down to remove them but at least only her free edge was torn..

Hi!

I agree with the fellow nail geeks with educating the parents as in to what harm it will cause to their young nails!

If the parents are still persistant and what an enhancement done, then I would recommend party tips. In other words just a glued on tip, blended to look natural. It wont cause any damge, (unless they rip them off) and are temporary!!

i agree with the above do try to get them to have some small stickers or decals instead

If you know any of these children you could do nail art on one of them to show the parents how nice you can make the natural nail look with art, hth

Thnk you all it is as I expected I cant beleive they put their kids through it, they even get spray tans at the age of about 9/10 yrs.

Cheers folkes its a great site.
