Not so mobile hairdressing

Hi

I have been a mobile hairdresser for two years now and have built up a busy clientele. I am also a beauty therapist but found this hard to do mobile because of all the kit! i have now moved and in my garden i have a converted garage and my partner has said that i can turn it into a studio for work!! does anyone know what i would have to do to make sure its legal and above board??
