nsi balance gel

I'm not trained in gel but just do my own at home, i got the hollywood toes kit and love it, have been doing it on my friends and its lasting really well for about 5-6 weeks. I did my nails with it and its lifting and peeling within a week, its fine on my toes though, what could i be doing wrong? Am I not prepping the nail properly do you think? thanks for any advice.

Could be. Product lifting means it was never bonded to the nail in the first place.
