Sorry, but I don't think the portable lamp will have enough energy to cure the Balance Color Gels. Those should be cured in a full hand lamp with 4-9 watt bulbs.

Hi Dizzy,

I have both my normal 36w lamp and the portable 9w lamp - both from NSI. I recently found the portable one after moving house and decided to take it to a couple of appointments. There is no way I could do a full set of gels on the little portable one. I thought it would be ok for Glaze and Go but to be honest it just held me back a little bit longer so I didn't even like it for that. This could be because I'm used the 36w now though and a bit impatient? It's much easier to carry around but I don't think you get the right finish with it.

hope that helps,
Ally xx
