Hey,

I haven't used NSI before and have just got a sample, I will give it a go over the next couple of days. Just wondered how people found the product as i've not heard much about it.. workability, how it lasts etc some advice would be great. Also noticed they had a fuminator extraction system in the product book, has anyone used this and if so how was it?? I really want a Purex table but cash is rather tight as just setting up a salon so if this was any good until the money flows that would be great.
Any info would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks Lisa x x x

I love NSI. I used their attraction acrylics and their Balance UV gel.

I find the acrylic really easy to use, I can only compare it to Magnetic as that was the company I used before NSI. I used to find Magnetic a little thick, I was never able to get the correct product ratio, I found I would be woking too dry even when I was desperatly trying to work wet. I understand that woull be more to do with me rather than the product, but I have never had this problem with NSI. My clients love it too, I don't get much lifting with most clients, if any at all. Of course, you do get clients who don't look after their nails and then complain at you!!! Grrr!!!

I have not been getting on too well with the Balance Gel, however, NSI are sending me on some free training next Wednesday at their main headquarters because when I told her my problems and how I had been trained to use their gel at one of the NSI training salons, it turned out my problems were more to do with how I had been trained to use it rather than the product. I have been sent the Gel dvd that Mandy Rainford Jones is on from NSI and this has helped loads. The gel looks so good when on the nail. I'm not keen on the paint on white or the extreme white because I find them too runny, I like the sculpting gel.

I personally don't think you can go wrong with NSI. I now use all of the Spa Ritual Range now too.

a fab explaination.:)
im sure you will enjoy there products as much as we do.xx

The fuminator is one of the best buys in our salon. We have one on each station and I often demo to cients the difference with dust build up by switching it off. It's instant. Well worth the money and a great alternative to wearing a mask!
Burtie:)

Oh cool! so Does it just suck the dust up then?? I used to use a purex table and you could just sweep the dust into the filter, is this the same type of thing?
Also how often would you need to change the filter, I only work one day a week at the mo.
Thanks so much guys!

Im half way through my VTCT nail technology course and i have been using NSI the whole time (my college uses Millunium but i decided not to use there system). My mum who uses NSI introduced me to there 'Attractions' L&P and i love it!!

I find it easy to work with and control and i can't fault NSI products and the odd time i have had lifting is sure down to me and my technique rather than the actual products!:lol:

Hi

Yes I'm with everyone else, I use NSI Balance gels and I love it! I too use the Sparitual range for manicures and pedicures.

The fuminator removes the dust from the working area and also the fumes if you put it near your dappen dish. i work from home and find it a valuable piece of equipment on a busy day as I dont like to close my door as my daughter is normally roaming around.

The filters can be cleaned easily by rinsing in water, or take them outside and give em a gentle smack to remove the dust. I have had mine for over a year and it still works perfectly with the same filter and regular cleaning to remove dust build up.

One other little thing I found, a glass or water on your nail table seems to attract dust too. I once had a client who had the most horrendous cough, she had it the same time every year since she was a child. I put a glass of water on the table for her and we noticed the dust went towards the glass, you could see it in the light. (she never drank it lol).

HTH
