Old thread about hard lumps in Shellac

I remember there being a old thread about bumps in Shellac little hard lumps I'm finding its happening so much to me now it's really frustrating as I don't know why it seems to be after removal of the previous shellac

I searched for the thread but can't find it to see if anyone knew the answer can someone point me in the right direction or have some answers

What do you use to push off the flakes of Shellac after unwrapping the fingers?
If it's occurring after Shellac removal, perhaps you are scraping the nail plate. This would account for bits sticking up and causing bumps under a fresh application x

Thanks hun can't seem to open the thread on my phone but will when home and on laptop. I use a blunt old cuticle pusher but maybe it's not as blunt as I thought and scraping the nail plate 😲

I don't use shellac but have the same problem sometimes with gelish. I do all my coats and top coat and wipe then gently buff the lump and top coat again.
