Ombre hair...again lol

Girl i work with currently has wella 12.1 tint all over . Naturally about an ashy 8 .
thinking of going darker.

We was thinking like 8 on roots .9 mid lenghts and leaving the ends as it is . We normally use loreal. Am i right in thinking we need to use 8.31 ,9.31 . if i put flat 8 is it going to go greeny ?

Do 7.31 and 9.31 so you've got a bit of a difference 8.31 and 9.31 will blend touch

Well were doing it now . Put the 7.31 on roots.and backcombed the join . Then going to wash off and do midlengths with 9.31 ....
